Halloween

Last night was Halloween 2009, and I was so excited. I made the girls costumes this year and turned out so darn cute. Carly was a pink crayon and Reese a blue. Every house we went to people loved them, and only one person thought that Reese was a boy (being blue and all). Carly started off geared up but after walking to the first house would not go to the door without me (or Aunt Nikki) and Reese just ran door to door, not really caring if I was there or not. I love seeing the difference that the two of them have so that they grow up with different personalities and we don't have to worry to much of them competing over everything. My brother Andy, his girlfriend Nikki and my handsome nephew Lenon came over to join in on the fun. Baby Lenon was a pirate and even got out a little for some snacks for his mom and dad. John passed out candy but after an hour realized we did not have the normal flow of people. Was it because it was so cold? Because it was on a Saturday? Or are people just not into Halloween anymore. How was everyone else's Halloween? I know we got tons of candy that no one is really going to eat (except Snickers and Reese Peanut Butter Cups) so about Easter time it will be thrown away.

You did such a good job on their costumes, I love them!
Our flow of kiddies wasn't like it usually is either. I think it was a combination of the weather and that it was on Saturday. Hopefully next year is better!
